A Choice
My dad had a choice; have surgery to possibly save his eyesight and risk death from the surgery or avoid surgery and definitely live longer, but go completely blind in another month or two. The eye surgery, while not particularly risky for most people, is very high risk for him due to other health conditions, but he's made his decision and goes under the knife on Monday. This isn't his first risky surgery. He had only a 20% chance of surviving the surgery on his aortic aneurysm. He had less than that on his heart valve replacement. Let's hope he keeps beating the odds.
